SafeSort AI automatically sorts your Outlook mailbox into folders — using an AI model that runs entirely on your own computer. No cloud required, no accounts with AI providers, and in Private mode not a single email leaves your machine.
SafeSort AI works the way you would — it just does it automatically, for every email.
A normal Windows installer, no IT skills needed. SafeSort finds your classic Outlook profile and downloads a local AI model sized to your hardware — from 2 GB to 9 GB.
Tell it what belongs where, in plain English: “Invoices — supplier bills and payment reminders.” SafeSort scans your folder tree and pre-fills suggestions to edit.
First it only shows where each email would go, with a “Why here?” explanation. When you trust it, switch to live sorting — with one-click undo for any run.
Private mode is the default and our whole reason to exist. Turbo mode is there when you have five years of backlog to clear.
The AI model runs on your own CPU or GPU. It sorts quietly in the background while you work — new mail is usually filed before you'd get to it anyway. Zero data leaves your machine.
Plug in your own OpenAI or Anthropic API key and clear thousands of emails in minutes. Strictly opt-in: the app tells you plainly that in Turbo mode, email text is sent to the provider you chose.
Every popular AI inbox tool sends your messages to someone else's servers. That's a problem if your inbox holds client contracts, patient details, or anything under an NDA.
Yours included. Every design decision assumes your email is irreplaceable.
Each filed email carries a one-line explanation of the decision, so the AI is never a black box.
Every sorting run is logged. One click moves everything back exactly where it was.
Preview where emails would go before anything moves. On by default for new setups.
SafeSort only moves emails between your folders. Delete doesn't exist in its vocabulary.
Swift, Balanced, or Precise — pick what fits your hardware. New models arrive as free updates.
The interface is English-first, with more languages on the roadmap. The AI already understands emails in dozens of languages.
One license, all features, all model sizes, all updates during your subscription.
Classic Outlook for Windows (Microsoft 365, Outlook 2016 and newer desktop versions). The “New Outlook” app isn't supported yet because Microsoft removed the local integration it relies on — support via Microsoft's cloud API is on our roadmap. If you use New Outlook, you can switch back with the toggle in its top-right corner.
A Windows 10/11 PC with at least 8 GB of RAM. With 8 GB choose the Swift model, 16 GB runs Balanced comfortably, and 32 GB unlocks the Precise model. A modern GPU speeds things up but isn't required.
In Private mode, the local AI takes roughly 15–40 seconds per email depending on your hardware and model size. That sounds slow — but it runs quietly in the background, so new mail is filed within a minute of arriving without you lifting a finger. For clearing a large backlog, optional Turbo mode uses your own OpenAI or Anthropic API key and sorts an email in about 2 seconds.
In Private mode — the default — really. The AI model is downloaded once and then runs on your machine; the app makes no network calls while sorting, which you can verify with any firewall or by unplugging your network cable. Turbo mode is different by design and says so plainly: it sends email text to the AI provider whose API key you supplied. It's off until you turn it on, and one click switches back.
Sorting pauses, but nothing is lost — your emails, folders, settings, and history stay exactly where they are, and the app remains installed. Renew whenever you like and it picks up where it left off.
It can occasionally file something into a different folder than you would — that's why every email carries a “Why here?” explanation and every run can be undone with one click. It can't lose or delete anything: SafeSort only moves emails between your own folders, and protected folders like Sent and Drafts are never touched.
Outlook rules can sort email by sender or subject line — but they break the moment a supplier changes their address or a client writes from a new domain. SafeSort AI is an automatic email sorter that reads each message the way you would and organizes your mailbox by meaning: invoices with invoices, client threads with clients, newsletters out of your way.
Whether you call it email sorting, inbox organization, or mailbox cleanup — the result is an Outlook inbox that empties itself into the right folders, on a Windows PC, with your data staying yours.
14 days, every feature, dry-run first. No credit card, no account, no cloud.
